Rho Core Library is a python library that provides common functionality for discovery and interaction between 'bots' that are responsible for providing unique units of functionality.

The framework is developed on top of XMPP in order to handle discovery and data passing. This implementation of the Rho Core library relies heavily on a slightly modified version of SleekXMPP.

This package can be installed into virtual environments through pip, by using

pip install -e https://github.com/rerobins/rhobot_framework.git

Contribution is done through github pull requests.

This is an initial release of core functionality and proof of concept. It provides basic details on passing information between bots in the system, and abstractions to ease the development of commands.
