There is a subtle distinction between CommonFunctions (CF), Mathematics (MATH) and Equations (EQ). EQ is meant for pure mathematical functions, MATH has functions that do mathematical work, CF has programming functions. An implementation of a Gaussian function belongs in EQ, a fitting function in MATH.
