Modular configuration base for Machinekit FFF 3D printers.

The primary goal of this repository is to work on a common base for Machinekit based FFF 3D printers. This repository should simplify the process of creating new device configurations.

First start by forking this repository on GitHub. Then add it to your Machinekit configuration repository:

git remote add fff-upstream https://github.com/strahlex/machinekit-fff.git
git subtree add --prefix fff fff-upstream master --squash

Make sure to check for upstream updates every once in a while.

git fetch fff master
git subtree pull --prefix fff fff-upstream master --squash

If you made some changes first fork the machinekit-fff repository on GitHub. Then add the new repository to git and push the changes to a new branch.

git remote add fff git@github.com:<username>/machinekit-fff.git
git subtree push --prefix fff fff <branch>

Now you can create a PR on GitHub to push the changes upstream.
