Hearts (Number of Hearts)
Hearts (are the Players Fighting spirit) The Player can punch whenever he has one or more hearts.
He will lose a heart each time his opponent blocks or dodges out of the way of his punches.
If he is hit he loses three hearts.
When the player is to tired to punch (he will change to color (different greenish sprite set) and must avoi punches by dodging or ducking to gain hearts.
Stars = [] (Number of Stars) The number of stars controls the number of uppercuts the player can use.
When the player scores an effective punch, A star will appear on his head and The number of stars will increase by one.
when the player is hit he loses one star if knocked down he loses all of his stars.
The Maximum number of stars is three.
Stamina Meters These meters show how much stima the player and his opponent have left.
Stamina will drop when a boxer is punched.
A boxer will go down if his stamina drops to zero
His stamina will recover when he gets back up (depending on ow quickly he gets back up)
During between splash screen hold down space bar to get additional stamina from coach
Match Points Match points are won when Player punches his opponent, Uppercuts, and effective punches win the greatest number of match points.
if get_hit minus 10 stamina and remove 1 star if stars is less 1 or equal to zero then punch button not active
if hit_opp plus 10 points and add 1 star
Scoring with match points occurs as follows:
Normal punch : 10 points Gaining a Star: 110 points Star punch : 500 points Knockdown : 1010 points Star Knockdown: 1500 points
counter an attack:
Blocking and countering Dodging and countering Interrupting it
If you successfully dodge an opponent's attack, you will earn the opportunity to counter attack and stun them. Once stunned, you can get in several free punches before they come to their senses.
Elapsed Time Show the lapsed time for the current round
Round: Shows the current round number
if win current_opponent + 1 elif lose current_opponent stay same number
current_round = 3minutes if time reaches 3minutes current round + 1
At the end of round 1 and round 2, your number of hearts is reset to the number you started the fight with, and your number of stars is reset to zero.
If you knock down your opponent three times in a round, you get an automatic technical knockout (TKO), which means you win and get another KO added to your KO record. KO + 1
Be aware that your opponents can also win by TKO if they knock you down three times in a single round. If round 3 ends before one of you is knocked out, you might be able to win by decision.
To win by decision, you need to have a certain number of points.
K_LEFT Press the Left Arrow Key will make the Player Dodge to left
K_RIGHT Press the Right Arrow Key will make the Player Dodge to right
K_Down Press the Down Arrow Key will make the Player Block K_Down, K_Down Press the Down Arrow KeyTwice rapidly will make the Player duck
K_SPACE Press the space bar between rounds, Coach's encouraging advice can increase Player's stamina
K_W Press the W key will make the player perform an Uppercut (but only if if the number of stars is 1 or greater!)
K_A Press the A key will make the player perform an Left body blow Press the A key (when Player is knocked down pressing rapidly and he'll get up)
K_UP & K_A Pressing the UP Arrow key and the A key together will make the player perform a left punch punch to the left face
K_D Pressing the D key will make the player perform a Left body blow
K_UP & K_D Pressing the UP Arrow key and the D key together will make the player perform a right punch punch to the rightt face
Round ------a round counts up to 3 minutes
KO ⋅⋅knockout (KO) is when a boxer stays down for a count of 10 ⋅⋅if the player runs out of health he stays down for the count of ten
KO Recovery ⋅⋅KO Recovery how quickly the player gets back up will determin health If the player recovers at a slow and ⋅⋅steady pace, usually ending at the count of 4 # or 5, they will regain much more health than ⋅⋅* if they mashed the buttons or waited until the count of 9

More of your punches will reach the opponent if you aim where he's not guarding.

Player won't be able to punch when he's tired (when he has no heart's), and his oppent will immediately start punching.
Dodge his punches and recover hearts
- Player left punch is a little faster than his right, but it's not quite as strong.
Winning Boxing Technique
- Dodge opponent's punches and then punch back immediately. You'll starle your opponent (his face will show it).
This is your chance --- punch furiously and you should score.

In order to get those nifty health meters going we need to figure out there locations
Ok, they are located at 30 pixels down from top and go down another 15 pixel to 45 pixel down
so each meter is 100 pixels wide and 15 pixel high
100 pixels works out great for figuring out amount on it!!!
